We never sell your personal information to third parties

Information Collection

As you use our Services, we collect different types of data. This helps us improve your gameplay and keep our Services running smoothly safely.

Game Play Data

While you play, we track how you interact with our features and other players. The data we collect may include your Player ID, game progress, IP address, device ID, and other information needed to improve your experience and fix bugs.

For games with leaderboards and scores, we will publicly display your game scores, achievements, and username. This lets you compare yourself with others and makes the game more fun. Participating in these features is an important part of the game. By playing, you agree to let us collect and show this gameplay data.

Device and Location Information

We may need your device details and general location to provide customer support and learn how people use our games. This can include your nickname, Player ID, unique device ID, operating system, device model, advertising ID, IP address, and location.

We use this information to see what you play and to help us show you more relevant ads. You can learn how to turn off targeted ads in the "Opt-out of Targeted Advertising" section below.

If you give us permission, we may also collect your exact location. We only use this to make the game better, like helping you find nearby players.

Third-Party Logins

If you log in using third-party services like Apple's Game Center or Google Play Games, those services let you share some of your profile information with us. This might include your user ID, city, state, or country. We collect and use this information according to the rules of those third-party services.

We use this data to create your account, log you in, and let you play our games smoothly. Some of these services also let you share your game achievements. If you want us to delete the data we got from Game Center or Google, please email us at contact@joyforgestudios.com.

Customer Support

When you contact our support team, we record helpful details like your operating system, device model, general location, nickname, Player ID, real name, email address, and the problem you are having. This lets us help you solve your technical issues quickly.

Payment Information

When you buy items in our games, we process payments through secure third-party platforms. We only see temporary, encrypted data, and we cannot read it. We do not store your credit card or payment details.

Forums and Messaging

We may collect Information from public forums and in-game chats to keep our community safe and friendly. Private conversations mean messages sent back and forth within our Services, like in-game chat or direct forum messages. Please remember that anything you say in public spaces or regular chats can be seen and saved by other users. If you want us to remove your posts from a public forum, just ask us at contact@joyforgestudios.com.

When you join our forums, we might ask for your email address. We use it mostly to send important updates about the forum rules or policies. We might also email you to ask about your experience or tell you about company news. You can stop getting these emails anytime by writing to contact@joyforgestudios.com.

Websites and Social Media

When you browse our websites, we automatically collect basic data to make the site work better for you. This includes your operating system, general location, browser type, language, the website you came from, and what you click on.

Our websites might also include social media tools, like a Facebook "Like" or "Share" button. These tools can record your IP address and the page you are on, and they might leave a cookie to work properly. These tools are managed by the social media companies, so your use of them follows their privacy rules.

Sharing Your Information

We do not share your personal information without your permission, except in these specific cases:

  • If you agree to let third parties use your data for their own marketing.
  • If we are required by law, such as answering a legal request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of our company and players.
  • If we hire outside companies to help us run our business, like customer support teams.
  • If we share anonymous, grouped data with our business partners, ad networks, or publishers.
  • If our company goes through a major change like a merger, sale, or bankruptcy. If your data is transferred to a new owner, we will let you know by email or a notice on our website.

International Data Transfers

To provide our Services all over the world, your information might be sent across borders. Privacy laws are different in every country and might not be the same as your home country. We promise to protect your data as outlined in this Policy, but some countries might not have the same strict data protection rules as the European Union.

Because our games use global cloud servers, your information (like your nickname, Player ID, device ID, OS, advertising ID, location, and IP address) may be stored on servers in the United States (mostly run by Google Inc.). We will keep this data until you ask us to delete your account.

Since we use Google Inc. to sync game data globally in real-time, you cannot play our games if you do not agree to this international data transfer.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tools to collect general data that doesn't identify you personally. Cookies are small text files that our websites save on your device. They help us understand how you use our Services so we can make them better.

Necessary Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep our Services secure. They help us find fraud, enforce our rules, and keep players safe. You cannot turn these off if you want to use the Services.

Analytics Cookies

We use these to see how many people use our games and what devices they use. This helps us create reports to improve our features.

Advertising Cookies

These help us show you ads that you might find interesting, both in our games and on other websites.

Please note that some of our partners also collect data. Other companies that show ads in our games might use their own cookies when you click on their ads. We don't control these third-party cookies, so we recommend reading their privacy policies if you have questions.

Advertising Partners

We work with the following ad networks and partners:

Keeping Your Data Safe

We follow industry standards to keep your information safe and private. We use the following steps to protect your data from being lost, leaked, or damaged:

Network Security

We use firewalls and security systems to block hackers and viruses. We also encrypt the connection between our servers and databases for extra safety.

Employee Training

We train our staff regularly on how to handle personal information safely. We also have a Privacy Officer who makes sure we follow strict privacy rules.

Restricted Access

The places where we store data are highly secure. Only approved staff can access them. Computers and hard drives with personal data are kept locked away.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as long as we need it to run the games for you. Game scores and leaderboards might be kept for our records even after you close your account, but we will make them anonymous or delete them if you ask. To stop us from using your data or to delete your account, email us at contact@joyforgestudios.com.

If you send a help request to Customer Support, your details (like nickname, Player ID, device, and game info) are sent to the USA (Google Inc.). We only keep this to help you, and we will delete it entirely 3 years after your request is closed.

Opting out of Targeted Ads

If you don't want to see personalized ads on your phone, you can change your device settings. Go to your privacy settings and turn on "Limit Ad Tracking" (for Apple iOS) or "Opt-out of Ads Personalization" (for Android).

Accessing Your Information

If your information changes, or if you want to stop using our games, you can update, correct, or delete your account details in the settings. You can also email us at contact@joyforgestudios.com. If you ask, we will send you an electronic copy of your personal data.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

Right to Access

You can ask to see the personal data we have collected about you at any time. Just email contact@joyforgestudios.com or check your in-game settings.

Right to Correct

If your information is wrong or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to fix it. You can do this in the settings or by emailing contact@joyforgestudios.com.

Right to Delete or Restrict

You can ask us to erase your data completely or limit how we use it. Send your request to contact@joyforgestudios.com.

Right to Withdraw Consent

If you gave us permission to use your data, you can change your mind and take it back at any time. This doesn't affect what we did before you withdrew it. Email contact@joyforgestudios.com.

Right to Data Portability

You can ask us for a structured, easy-to-read copy of your data so you can move it to another service. Request this via contact@joyforgestudios.com.

Right to Object

You can object to certain ways we use your data, as described in this Policy.

Right to Complain

You have the right to file a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. If you live in the EU, you can complain to a supervisory authority there.

We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions about you or to profile you in an unfair way.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17 (or under 16 in Europe) without a parent or guardian's permission. If you are under this age, please do not give us any personal information and do not use our Services. Some games have different age limits based on platform or local law. If you don't meet these limits, you cannot play.

If we find out we accidentally collected data from a child under 17 (or 16 in Europe), we will delete it right away safely. If you think we might have a child's information, please let us know immediately at contact@joyforgestudios.com.

We encourage parents to watch over what their children do online. Any player who is not legally an adult needs a parent or guardian to read and agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service for them.

US Privacy Rights

This section is for users living in the United States. Under US laws, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of data sharing. You also have the right not to be treated differently if you use these privacy rights. We do not sell your personal information.

Right to Opt-Out

We only share your data as described in this Policy. You have the right to opt out of sharing your data with outsiders.

Do Not Track

California law asks us to explain how we handle "Do Not Track" signals from web browsers. Right now, because there is no standard rule for these signals, our system does not respond to them.

Exercising Your Rights

If you want to use your US privacy rights or have questions about how we handle data, please contact us at contact@joyforgestudios.com.

Changes to this Policy

We might update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business changes and grows. If we make major changes that affect your privacy, we will try our best to let you know. If you do not agree with the new changes, you should stop playing our games and delete your account.
